I've started my new magazine rotation at Home Beautiful. I am getting paid to read magazines about clever modern design solutions and gorgeous homes whilst drinking coffee. Seriously! I know! It's like, sooo cool!

Last night I saw the Donnas and they rocked! I have to learn the guitar now. The Bhuzies have to start up soon before I'm old and decrepit and we'll be more like the Bangles than the Donnas.

I'm writing an article based on my sister's adventures as an elderly care worker in London. This is actually alot funnier than it sounds. I just hope those Grey Power Senior Citizens' Rights People don't ring up and complain about my disparaging treatment of old people in the article. It wouldn't surprise me though because old people are total whingers. And they smell awful too. Like mothballs.

It's official: Kurt and Courtney, my new goldfish moved in on the weekend. Courtney is slightly larger than Kurt and tends to be more agressive. Kurt is sweet and passive. Quite true to life, really. But I love them both.
My sea snail is named Susan, because it is hideously lazy. Lazy Susan has moved about 5 centimetres since the weekend. So much for the dream of having a snail that zips around the tank cleaning off all the green algae from the inside so I don't have to do it. Bloody snails.

And I thought I was good at procrastinating.
Dave Gorman managed to refine the art of procrastination into a stage show called Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure I caught at the Opera House last night. His determination to find 10 people in a row who can each lead him to another person through their own googlewhack was clever and funny, but in a scary kind of way. The words - obsessive compulsive disorder - kept springing to mind. I can say no more because I might spoil the show for any of you punters out there who haven't seen it yet.
